ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Dr. Shore (she/her) founded Lakeview Plastic Surgery in 2013, envisioning a boutique practice that offers the highest calibre of plastic surgery, in the setting of a warm and caring environment.

In addition to achieving excellent surgical results, Dr. Shore strives to ensure that each person feels seen, heard, and cared for. When it comes to choosing a plastic surgeon, is so important to trust your surgeon, and to believe they have your best interests at heart. From the initial consultation, to surgery, and through recovery, Dr. Shore is there for you every step of the way.

Dr. Shore is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, and the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons.

She lives in Chicago with her husband, two daughters, and two very spoiled cats. An avowed nerd, she loves all things Studio Ghibli, is an unabashed Swiftie, and has a very colorful sneaker collection. She was raised overseas as the daughter of a US diplomat, and grew up in Cyprus, Nigeria, Senegal, and France.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Dr. Shore is a magna cum laude graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society, double-majoring in French Literature and Biology. She earned her medical degree (M.D.) from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She completed her combined plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. From there, she moved to Chicago, and completed the Zaccone Family Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Giselle (she/her) joined Lakeview Plastic Surgery in 2014, and transformed the practice into the warm, welcoming, and happy place that it is. From the first phone call, to the last hug after your final visit with us, she is the smiling face and cheerful voice that welcomes you to our office.

She is the proud adopted mom of two Huskies, Kylo and Mia, and a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She loves live music, cherishes her friends, and is an accomplished makeup artist.
